What we believe

Open Door is one church with multiple expressions committed to loving God, loving others, and sharing the peace of Christ in and around Lexington. We seek to do that by opening our doors to anyone that needs family and opening our hands to give freely and do good. Learn more.

Seven Minute sermon for Home Churches

Today we begin our fall sermon series, Follow Me, as we explore together what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Join Pastor Adam as we begin this discussion with the most foundational question, “What is a disciple?”

For other sermons in this series, check out our Vimeo channel or Facebook page. We’d love to hear from you! Share your thoughts, comments, and questions at office@opendoorlex.org.

Join us in person for an uplifting event all about creating space for God's love while letting go of fear. We will converse with local non-profit and ministry leaders in Central Kentucky as they share stories of peacemaking in their context. They will also include practical steps for how you might make room for peace where you are. Come as you are and let's make room together!

Fall Series:

Follow Me

Jesus has called us to follow Him, but what does that mean? What does it look like? And how can we do this together, as a church, as the body of Christ? This fall we are going to look at our faith formation - how we can practice and learn the way of Christ together in community. Join us as we explore our discipleship journey together.

We’d love to see you! We’re located at 749 Addison Ave & Home Churches in and around Lexington.
