PARTNER IN PRAYER
PRAISE: We had the honor of sending out with our blessing the Whyte family to serve as the pastoral family of Oak Ridges BIC Church in Ontario; we are so grateful for the time we had with them and send them with our prayers for God’s continued faithfulness.
PRAISE: We were able meet the needs of some families in our community with a Thanksgiving meal and a place to be where love and friendship is freely given.
Pray for our staff and leadership as we prepare for 2025 and discern God’s direction and vision for the year to come.
Pray for Hope for Congo, a ministry that began with members of Open Door and currently supports a home for widows and orphans in Congo. A medical clinic is also being built and an additional need for $20,000.00 by the end of this year has come up.
Pray for our youth and young adults as we continue to meet in our home church; for others to know they are welcome and wanted in this space.
Pray for our Home Churches as we grow and transition. Praising the Lord for new individuals and families who are worshiping with us! We anticipate starting a few new home churches in 2025.
Pray for the NA groups that meet in our Community Center. These folks are doing the hard work of recovery and sobriety and we want to support them, not only with a place to meet, but with a community of faith that is praying for them.
